An imaginative children’s film about a young Australian boy’s passion for flight and his challenge to compete in the World Paper Plane Championships in China.
Dylan loves to watch ‘his’ bird-of-prey soar high above the countryside. He also loves making paper planes, because just maybe it reminds him of his Mum. When a special visitor comes to his outback school Dylan’s paper folding talent is discovered and he sees an opportunity to compete at the World Paper Plane Championships in Shanghai. As Dylan struggles to compete he looks to the natural world for inspiration. Dylan does win, but not the World Championships. Set in Outback Australia, Sydney and Shanghai, this coming of age film champion’s imaginative play, trust in oneself and the genius of the natural world.
